Free air delivered (FAD) is the actual volume of air delivered by a compressor reduced to the surrounding atmospheric pressure (i.e 1.01325 bar abs.) and temperature (i.e 15° C). The V1 - V4 is the Free Air Delivery as shown in Figure.
