Use Trapezoidal rule to estimate $\int_{0.5}^{1.3} e^{x^{2}} d x$ using a strip of width $0.2$ .

Here,

f (x) = e^{x^{2}}

, and

a = 0.5; b = 1.3

Given that,

h = 0.2

$f (x)$	$1.2840$	$1.6323$	$2.2479$	$3.3535$	$5.4195$

By Trapezoidal rule,

\int_{a}^{b} f (x) d x = \frac{h}{2} [(y_{0} + y_{10}) + 2 (y_{1} + y_{2} + y_{3} + . . .)]

\int_{a}^{b} f (x) d x = \frac{0.2}{2} [(1.2840 + 5.4195) + 2 (1.6323 + 2.2479 + 3.3535)]

\int_{a}^{b} f (x) d x = 2.1171
