Calculate:

Solution:

COP = \frac{Q}{W (power input)}

W = \frac{Q}{COP} = \frac{7 \times 8}{5} = 11.2 kW

energy consumed in one month = Power \times no . of hours days = 11.2 \times 4 \times 30

$energy consumed in one month = 1344 \frac{kW}{hr}$
